Lawrence World Famous Recipes

Famous Ribs

Ingredients:
  • 1 full rack of babyback ribs
  • Bottle of Lawrence dry rub
  • 6 pack of domestic beer

Remove the silver skin from the back side of a rack of babyback ribs.

Place the ribs on a wire rack, 1/2" above the bottom of an appropriately sized pan.

Coat ribs with Lawrence World Famous dry rub and pour one can of beer into the bottom of the pan. Do not let beer touch the ribs.

Seal the top of the pan with aluminum foil and place in a 250 degree oven for 3.5 hours.

Remove ribs from oven, remove aluminum foil, coat ribs with BBQ sauce and place onto hot grill. Char on the grill until desired crispness.

Use the other 5 beers to wash them down!

Famous Wings

Ingredients:
  • 12 chicken wings or drums
  • Bottle of Lawrence dry rub
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Hot sauce to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Cheese Whiz

Dry wings and coat with Lawrence dry rub. Place on hot grill and char each side. Do not cook through.

Drop charred wings into deep fryer until done; they will float when cooked through. Remove from fryer and set aside.

Combined melted butter with hot sauce and Cheese Whiz. Pour mixture over wings and enjoy!

Deep frying the wings after charring on the grill locks in the smoky flavor. The Cheese Whiz thickens the sauce and takes it to another level!

Famous BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 cups Heinz ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper

Melt butter in saucepan and stir in brown sugar until dissolved.

Add ketchup and black pepper. Reduce heat and use sauce at will.

Note: Do not allow the mixture to boil or else it will be ruined.
